Wile E. Coyote versus Trump (the Leftist Mega Doom-loop)
Vicious cycle? Death Spiral? Yes. Yes, it is.
Reading the libs comments is like watching the same cartoon over and over again. How many times can Wile E. Coyote blow himself up without learning anything except continuing his single-minded pursuit of the Roadrunner.
Mike W Comment on WSJ (6-3-24)
That reader comment was made to a Wall Street Journal article about the leftists’ ongoing lawfare persecution of Trump. It seemed that extreme Trump Derangement Syndrome had caused the leftists to enter a downward-spiraling doom-loop, from which they could not pull out, in spite of the fact that their persecution of him seemed to be increasing support for Trump.
A ‘doom-loop’ is basically a vicious cycle.
(If you know all about the Leftist Doom Loop, you can skip ahead to Conclusion: Why This is Important!)
A doom loop describes a scenario in which one negative development causes another negative development, which then makes the first problem worse. The result is a self-reinforcing loop of negative feedback.
The Big Leftist Doom Loop
It is appropriate to get the definition of ‘doom-loop’ from Investopedia because the term was coined in a book on economics (i.e. Jim Collins, Good to Great (2001)). Investopedia gives an example of a ‘doom-loop’, from economics.
In economics, a doom-loop is usually the result of excess government spending, for which the market believes the government will not be able to pay, insolvency in the banking sector, or sudden declines in equities markets. Doom-loops are usually broken only by intervention, such as a government or an international bailout of an affected country’s finances.
The next sentences could be: “Then that intervention of bailout government spending eventually causes another market decline. And the media and government regulators tell us that more government intervention is needed to fix it. Then the same thing happens again, over and over... Forever. Thanks for the doom, Keynesian leftists.”
War is another government doom-loop. Your government tells you that you have to give the government more money and power because another government is going to attack you. Meanwhile, the other government is telling its subjects the same thing. And when the war is over, whoever wins, the war almost always is followed by another war. Who “wins” the wars? Not the people. The people suffer. The governments win the wars, by getting more power over their subjects. To “protect” them.
Sheep spend their lives in fear of the wolf, only to be eaten by the shepherd.
Government has lots of doom-loops, it turns out. Doom-loops are a leftist thing. Controllists like to trap us in their doom-loops, like slaves held in chains.
How Do You Get Out of the Government Doom-loop? You Can’t
If one agent or agency of government is persecuting you in some way, to whom do you turn? Another agency of that same government…
Police giving you a hard time? Who ya gonna call? Other police. Or maybe the FBI (LOL).
If one judge imposes an unfair ruling, to whom can you turn? Another judge who is paid by that very same government.

Conclusion: Why This is Important!
...Now that socialists have bastardized capitalism with taxes, too many regulations, unfair trade policies, ineffective social spending and spend the peoples money on their policies the same socialists say capitalism has failed.
Barton Swaim, “Capitalism Isn’t a ‘System’ Socialists Err Dangerously When They Assume A Market Economy Is a Conscious Project” Wall Street Journal (2019)
Government intervention almost always creates more problems than it solves. Then after government intervention creates more problems, we are told that more government intervention is required to fix the problems caused by government intervention. This raises questions. Fortunately, the answers are simple:
Q. If government intervention causes ever more problems, then why do we have so much of it?
A. Not because it is good, it’s bad. We have so much of it only because leftists love it. That is the conclusion of Control versus Freedom, and we prove it’s the truth.
Q. If the government/leftist doom-loop creates increasingly more damage, then why doesn’t the leftist doom-loop cause our economy and society to crash into the ground?
A. Because the U.S. government leftist doom-loop is NOT the only thing going on in American society. It’s not even the only loop going on in society. The government is a doom-loop, but the free enterprise economy is a boom loop. You can see that for yourself easily. If you look at real American economic growth over time, it would look something like this:
There are downs and ups. But the new lows are higher than the previous lows. And the new highs are higher than the previous highs. The “business cycle” is a cycle, yes. But like a wheel on a wagon or a tire on a bike, it may go around and around, but it takes the passengers forward.
As the U.S. government doom-loop brings us down and destroys order, the free enterprise economy is at work at the same time, creating new order, of the best kind, for America. The free enterprise system creates vast amounts of goods and good order. That answers the question:
What is the alternative to the destructive government intervention and the leftist doom-loop? The leftists say that the only alternative to control is chaos. But that’s a lie. The alternative to the order of the government hierarchy of control, the doom-loop, is a better kind of order than government control. We show this in the book Control versus Freedom, free to read online at RightfulFreedom.com.

And at the end of Anti-Leftism, we have a proposal for what we, the right, might do to defeat the Leftists and take back our freedoms and our country. The Freedom Proposal.

"Arguing with a leftist is like playing chess with a pigeon. You move, it knocks over the pieces, shits all over the board, then struts around like it won."
Brilliant commentary! Leftists are too stupid (don't know and don't want to know the truth) to see what they are doing to themselves and others. I'm going to cross post this!!!
