I finally got to this post!! And I wanted to say that I don't KNOW what "God" is. I am hesitant to use that term, because it has all kinds of anthropomorphic connotations, and I don't KNOW what the Creator actually IS.... That said, I do agree with some that NATURE *feels* like an intelligence to me. Point is, for me, that there is NOTHING anything or anyone on this planet could "kill" that entity or whatever it is. NOT POSSIBLE. It's far, far beyond anything any of us could imagine on our own, and that's why Human Beings seem to need to fight about it.
So... just my opinion, but I say the question is MOOT.
