What is the alternative to all this centralistaion? A de-centralised economy and society based on blockchain technology? That could be the plan all along with the powerful elite still pulling the strings behind the curtain.
Perhaps we should step back from all the technology that is racing ahead at the moment in order to retain our humanity. We could live in smaller groups in more natural ways without the internet?

Short answer: Spontaneous-Organization. Leftists tell us that the only alternative to government control is chaos. But that's not true. Control is a kind of order, and emergent order is a better kind of order. And yes, Decentralized Finance and blockchain are an excellent example of decentralized order.
I am wary of going further down the technology route as that is the plan. AI assisted direct democracy and community currency programmes are being worked on as we speak. By the same power structure who are behind the old economic sysytem that has run its course.
We are trained into linguistic and conceptual boxes that fuel polarity – libertarianism vs. socialism, etc. etc. when most of the roads are all using custom stories to take us to the same place.
How about we step back from technology and have "de centralised order" without it? That way, we regain more control over our lives and connection to nature = better mental and physical health!
