Of course it is true!

The courts are as corrupt as everything else in this damn nation!

Lawfare is only possible if the courts go along. The corruption of the courts and judges, and how they collude with prosecutors is huge problem. We do not have effective oversight of prosecutors or judges. One of my numerous disappointments with Trump is that he doesn't really elevate the issue of his persecution to a more generalized critique of the justice system. The Feds in particular have been abusing their power forever. There is a great book, Licensed to Lie, written by Sidney Powell, long before she get chewed up by the 2020 election. As an aside, she knew nothing of electoral law, she was a highly specialized appellate atty accepted by the SCOTUS and was widely respected. Link to the book here. https://amzn.to/3VQQMJs

You see the entire armament of prosecutorial abuse in her critique. Prosecutors constantly abusing their power, inventing crimes and radical theories that are often overturned on appeal, coercion of witnesses and so many legal games prevent the accused from having anything approaching a 'fair trial'. Just as bad as what they are doing to Trump. Trump is spinning this wrong - it's not just black folks who are victimized by this system, he should resist this temptation. He should also call for actual reform, not 'revenge'.

He should instead make clear that when public officials and politicians are held to account that they will be extra transparent, extra fair. Example: You may want to 'lock Biden up' but the statute of limitations has run out on any of those bribery crimes. There is no case to pursue. We should make that clear. He should offer a plan to restructure FED law enforcement and how U.S. attys operate. DoJ itself is hugely problematic - what would he change? While I'll vote for Trump I find this is a constant problem of his, not properly IDing the actual policy changes required. Third parties like Heritage with their 2025 problem are trying to do it for him, I hope them are successful pressing his admin to become much more coherent and effective should he manage to actually take office in 2025.
